1935 December 28 Married Doris Tulip at St.Martin's Church, Norris Bank, Stockport
He enjoyed crown-green-bowling all his working life, and once played for his county team (Cheshire).
1957 - - 1963 Mule spinner at Bollington.
1964 - - 1973 Engineering fitter at McClures of Shaw Heath, Stockport. (electric motors used in the coal industry)
1973 May Retired from work.
1987 March 7 Harry died at Stockport Infirmary.
